Lamborghini reveals world’s first supercar NFT, featuring last Aventador ‘Ultimae’

As Automobili Lamborghini aims to electrify its entire lineup by 2024, the Aventador V12 is approaching the end of its production. As such, in an industry first, the Italian marque is auctioning the last Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae ever produced and a one of one NFT, in collaboration with artists like Krista Kim and Steve Aoki.

Krista will be responsible for creating the visual artwork for the NFT while Steve Aoki will compose a custom soundtrack for it.

The Lamborghini Ultimate release is the world’s first full-scale supercar NFT, marking the end of an era for Lamborghini and a transition to the digital world. The sale will be conducted in an auction by RM Sotheby’s, a world-renowned collector car auction house.

The winning bidder will also receive exclusive previews of future limited-edition Lamborghini models, a private tour of the Museo Lamborghini, along with a private meet and greet session with the artists involved with the project.

“Lamborghini and the NFT community share many values. We are both young-spirited innovators, looking out for unexpected projects and technological solutions. This project is very special for us as it is a true first, a path nobody has ever taken”, said CEO, Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann.

The NFT and Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on the 19th of April.
