We’ve all seen memes making fun of BMW’s increasingly large kidney grille, but it looks like the joke’s on us because the memes have become a reality.
Due to be revealed next month, the all-electric BMW i7 will be the most powerful BMW 7 Series to date. The i7 will feature oblong-shaped headlights and a grille that projects modernity and “a distinct look”. Think they’ve got the latter nailed down already.
Details are extremely limited at the moment but BMW has revealed that the headlamps are made of crystal glass while the kidney grille is now illuminated in case you don’t notice how big it is.
Inside, the i7 will feature the latest iDrive operating system, along with the BMW Curved Display, like in the BMW iX. It was also come with the Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof, with LED light threads that can be individually adjusted.
In the back seat, BMW says the i7 will offer a unique cinematic experience with the BMW Theatre Screen, which is tucked inside the roof liner. The ultra-wide 31-inch screen with 8K resolution aims to transform the rear seats into an exclusive, private cinema lounge, BMW said.
