Following its success last year, where visitors from over 65 countries were attracted to one of the biggest automotive trade shows in Asia, the Taipei AMPA has announced its return for 2022.
In 2021, the 2nd largest automotive trade show in Asia attracted the likes of Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mahle, Valeo, Denso, Foxtron, and PTT Oil as a platform to meet and mingle with other aftermarket and automotive electronics manufacturers.
If you’re unaware, Malaysia and Thailand have been big consumers of automotive products from Taiwan; importing parts totaling USD237 million in 2019. The same year also saw other ASEAN countries acquire over USD480 million worth of automotive parts and electronics.
This year’s edition has seen all major manufacturers of automotive parts and accessories including lighting and EV components have signed up to show off their latest developments.
Each year, AMPA attracts only the best in OEM automotive parts manufacturing including Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Fisker, and Gogoro here. In focusing on C.A.S.E (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric), Taipei AMPA promises to display only the best in IoV, EV, 5G, and C-V2X technology while visitors (both online and on-site) can expect a display of the future to the automotive industry.
Since an online version of AMPA was launched in 2021, it has become the first international automotive trade show to be held physically and virtually. For the 2022 edition, the AMPA Digital Go platform has been introduced to not only connect exhibitors and buyers, but will also provide various digital tools for vendors to showcase their products more effectively.
The online version of the 2022 Taipei AMPA Hybrid Show takes place between the 11th – 24th of April, while the physical expo takes place between the 20th – 23rd April, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 1.
The Taipei AMPA is Asia’s 2nd largest automotive trade show since its inception in 1984 and is also the only show in Asia that offers two and four-wheeled innovations and solutions under one roof.
