It’s no secret that the Lamborghini Aventador lineage is coming to an end after more than 10 years in production since it made its debut in 2011 and the final version, the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, has been launched in Malaysia.

There are only 600 units of the Ultimae worldwide, made up of 350 coupes and 250 roadsters, and as it is the last version of the V12 Aventador, all 600 units have been sold. In Malaysia, the coupe starts from RM1.888 mil while the roadster is priced from RM1.988 mil. Both prices are excluding duties and options.

The Ultimae you see here is finished with a grey-on-grey exterior colour theme, just like the global launch unit. The splitters and ‘teeth’ at the front, as Lamborghini calls it, are finished in Matte Red. The wheels are 20-inch in size, paired with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.

As for the ceramic brakes, Lamborghini claims that it can stop the car from 100 km/h to zero in just 30 metres. With the generous use of carbon fibre, the Aventador Ultimae is 25 kg lighter than the Aventador S.

While the Ultimae isn’t fitted with a huge rear wing, its carbon fibre rear diffuser and active rear wing combo is capable of generating the same downforce as the track-focused Aventador SVJ.

The grey-on-grey exterior colour theme is applied to the interior as well; with black leather and Alcantara materials complementing the ‘Y’ seat insers. The LP 780-4’s comfort-oriented seats are taken from the Aventador S, with the ‘Ultimae’ name embroidered into the seat bolster. The A-pillar on the other hand features a plaque that reads 001 of 350/250 – in reference to the units available for the Coupe and Roadster body styles.

At the heart of this bull is a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine paired to a 7-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) gearbox to drive all four wheels. The Ultimae also gets rear-wheel steer. The non-turbocharged V12 makes 780 hp and 720 Nm, and is capable of catapulting the Ultimae from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 355 km/h.
