Sime Darby Auto Performance, the sole distributor of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia has launched the new facelift Macan with three variants available – the Macan, Macan S, and Macan GTS, starting from RM433,154.
There are two engine options available for the facelift Macan – a 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder and a 2.9-litre turbo V6 – and both are paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK gearbox. All three variants come with increased horsepower and torque.
As for the exterior, the changes are subtle but enough to give the Macan a different look and keep it fresh for a while more. The front sees a change in the bumper design, with a C-shaped surround for the fog lights, intersecting at the number plate. The flat door trims from the pre-facelift model have been replaced with pieces with a 3D look and finished with diamond shapes.
Inside, the facelift Macan welcomes the new decade with a “near button-less” dashboard. The switches by the centre console and for the air-con controls have all been replaced with haptic-touch icons instead. The steering design has also been tweaked slightly.
