Just a couple of months after its global premiere, Lotus Cars Malaysia, has announced the price of the Emira V6 First Edition starting from RM1,131,000 and RM449,800 in Langkawi.
Lotus’ latest mid-engined supercar is powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine pushing out 400 hp and 420 Nm, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The dual-clutch gearbox is only reserved for the variants with the turbocharged AMG engine.
The First Edition will be available in six different colours – Seneca Blue, Hethel Yellow, Magma Red, Dark Verdant, Shadow Grey, and Nimbus Grey – with more colour options available in 2022. To complement these colours, the Emira V6 sits on 20-inch ultra-lightweight V-spoke forged alloy wheels.
On the outside, the Emira is fitted with LED lighting all-round, titanium exhaust tips, and reverse sensors. The Emira also comes as standard with a Lower Black Pack with front bumper air blades, front splitter, side sills, and rear diffuser all finished in gloss black.
The variety of colors also extend to the interior with multiple interior colours to choose from. They include red, black, grey, and tan Nappa leather as well as black Alcantara. Unlike Lotus vehicles of the past, baron or spartan are words you can’t use to describe the cabin anymore. It’s now finished with chrome trims, ambient lighting, and Lotus-branded door sills for that upmarket look.
Also unlike Lotus’ of old, it even comes with cruise control, keyless start, on-board navigation, drive mode selector, Bluetooth, 12-way electric seats along with a 10.25-inch infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Lower Black Pack isn’t the only optional package fitted to the car as standard. The Emira will also get the Drivers Pack for a choice of Sport or Toruing suspension with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tyres or Sport suspension with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
A Design Pack adds privacy glass, sports pedals, Alcantara headlining and brake calipers either in black, red, yellow, or silver. The Design pack also comes with Lotus-branded footwell mats.
Lastly, the Convenience Pack adds front parking sensors, a reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming mirrors, and a net for rear luggage.
Production of the Lotus Emira V6 First Edition begins in Spring of 2022. Interested parties can check out the newly updated configutor here.
