BMW in Singapore has launched the new G24 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe with prices starting from SGD273,888 (RM843,989) for the 420i M Sport, SGD 330,888 (RM1.02 million) for the 430i M Sport Pro, and SGD409,888 (RM1.263 million) for the M440i xDrive.
Starting with the 420i, underneath the front hood is a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 184 hp and 300 Nm. 0 to 100 km/h is done in 7.9 seconds with top speed rated at 235 km/h.
The 430i is a little quicker, taking just 6.2 seconds to complete the same run with its 245 hp and 400 Nm from the similar 2.0-litre engine but tuned for more power.

As for the most powerful variant of the three – the M440i xDrive – there’s 369 hp and 500 Nm to play with from a larger 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. As a result, the M440i xDrive takes a brisk 4.7 seconds to get from 0 to 100 km/h. Top speed is rated at 250 km/h. All variants come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
A notable difference on the exterior between the 420i and the 430i/M440i xDrive is that the latter two are fitted with adaptive M Sport Suspension. The wheels on the 430i and M440i xDrive are also larger; measuring 19-inches instead of the 18’s on the 420i.
Between the two higher-end models, only the M440i xDrive comes with an M Differential. Inside, the M Sport models come with M sport steering and seats, along with a Harman Kardon sound system.
