Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club, otherwise known as the Johor Southern Tigers has announced a new international sponsorship and partnership with one of the most exclusive car brands in the world, Aston Martin. The deal was just announced on the football team’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The most exciting of all, JDT FC also announced that there would be a “JDT Edition range” from this new partnership, without elaborating further.
The video below was released in conjunction with the announcement, featuring several Aston Martins of new and old driving up to the JDT FC stadium.

If the video is a hint of things to come, could there be a JDT Edition for every model in Aston Martin’s current range? Including the DBS Superleggera, the DB11, the DBX, and the Vantage?
That would be something, wouldn’t it?
No details were shared on the international sponsorship deal either but one would assume that it should be a shirt sponsorship deal. That would be quite incredible; seeing the words “Aston Martin” plastered across our local football team’s jersey.

“The partnership is not only very valuable monetarily to Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT), but is also a deep-rooted relationship that is going to develop opportunities for JDT and Johor in various areas over the coming years,” according to a statement published by the team.
JDT FC highlighted that talks have been ongoing for several weeks now and are delighted to have reached an agreement with the illustrious British sports car maker.
