E-Type UK, a renowned restorer of Jaguar E-Type vehicles has introduced their latest work dubbed the ‘Unleashed’, based on the E-Type Series 3.
Under the hood is a 6.1-litre naturally-aspirated V12, paired to a 5-speed manual, producing 405 hp to drive the rear wheels. Tasked with slowing it down is a pair of 4-piston brake calipers in the front, with slotted brake discs.
Other areas of the engine bay have also been upgraded to cope with newly ‘unleashed’ performance; such as the E-Type’s radiator which has been upgraded to a larger, high-flow aluminium unit along with the addition of oil coolers.
As power is nothing without control, the E-Type ‘Unleashed’ now sits on fully adjustable shock absorbers behind 16-inch, with additional anti-roll bars and PU bushings for better even better stability and reduced body roll.
Each unit of the Unleashed requires 4,000 hours to restore to perfection, with prices starting from £325,000 (approx. RM1.86 million) plus the cost of a Series 3 E-Type donor car.
