The Abarth 595 is quite a rare gem that combines hot hatch performance with an incredibly unique appearance. Being fast and distinctive means the Abarth, and its base car the Fiat 500, are usually good candidates for a multi-brand marketing exercise.
The Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha is the fourth limited-edition car that celebrates the ongoing partnership between Abarth and Yamaha Factory Racing. The partnership, which has been ongoing since 2015, shares similar values of performance, racing, technology and fun.

Inspired by the livery of the 2020 MotoGP Monster Energy Yamaha YZR-M1, the exterior of the Abarth 595 special series features a two-tone livery with the upper half in “Nero Scorpione” black and the overall exterior in “Blu Podio“ metallic blue.
Special edition highlights include the “Yamaha Factory Racing” logo on its lower side and one above the “595” logo just next to the door handle. A set of 17-inch rims with dual V-spoke in matt black finish completes the side profile.

The “Monster Claw” on the black bonnet is a tribute to the new collaboration with the renowned Monster Energy drink and also seen on the YZR-M1 MotoGP machines.
Under the black bonnet, the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine will also breathe and sound better thanks to the fitment of a sports muffler called “Record Monza”. Outputs are unchanged at 165 hp and 230 Nm of torque and capable of sending the Abarth 595 from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.

Inside, the sports seats are wrapped in a specially designed pattern that also sees the “Monster Claw” and “Yamaha Factory Racing” logos embroidered into the headrest.

Blue, a colour associated with Yamaha, is sparingly used on the dashboard and highlights on the edge of the seats. An appropriate identifier plate on the lower console marks the exclusivity and uniqueness of this special series and partnership.

Only 2,000 units of the Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha special edition will be available, priced at USD32,366 (approximately RM113k).
