Lexus Malaysia introduces special and limited edition variants of ES and RX models

Lexus Malaysia today announced the availability of not one, but two special and limited edition variants: the ES 250 Limited Edition and the RX 300 Luxury Special Edition.

Starting with the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition, this premium sedan is now furnished with the exclusive bamboo wood trim inlays on the steering wheel, doors, centre console, and dashboard. Lexus says the bamboo is hand-picked from a sustainable forest in Kochi, southern Japan, and a master craftsman or ‘takumi’ sculpts and polishes each piece by hand.

Customers can choose to have either Topaz Brown or Black interior theme to pair with the handcrafted bamboo wood trim.

Lexus Malaysia is pricing the ES 250 Limited Edition from RM327,510.50 on-the-road, without insurance and with the on-going sales tax exemption that is valid until 30th June 2021.

Meanwhile, the RX 300 Luxury Special Edition will see an upgrade to the exterior through the fitment of a 4-piece aerodynamic body kit. The set consists of a front bumper spoiler, a pair side skirts, and a rear bumper diffuser.

Priced at RM421,909.50 on-the-road without insurance and sales tax, the RX 300 Luxury Special Edition sees a significant price add-on (+RM12,124) compared to the Luxury variant it is based on, and just RM2,278 lower than the fully sport-focused F Sport variant.

Both the ES 250 Limited Edition and RX 300 Luxury Special Edition share three colours in the 4-colour palette available: Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, and Graphite Black Glass Flake. Unique to the ES 250 Limited Edition is the Deep Blue Mica, while the fourth colour available to the RX 300 Luxury Special Edition is the Red Mica Crystal Shine.

The newly introduced variants will be available for booking from the middle of January at all six authorized Lexus Centres nationwide, with deliveries from Japan set to begin in February 2021.
