Lexus Malaysia has just launched the new 2019 Lexus RX300 with three variants available – Premium at RM399,888, Luxury at RM424,888 and F Sport at RM439,888.
The new 2019 Lexus RX is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder making 235 hp and 350 Nm, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
On the outside, the RX now comes with slimmer, redesigned headlamps, new front and rear bumper design, new grille design, repositioned fog lamps, and new tail light design.
The LED combination rear lamps features an “L” shape motif, further emphasising the Lexus brand signature.
The new RX also rides on a new suspension setup that promises a mix of comfort and poise when the roads start curving. Under the wheel arches of both variants are 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/55 tyres.
On the inside, the cabin which can be had in three different colour schemes – Orcher, Black or Noble Brown – comes with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Other interior upgrades include paddle shifters, a smartphone holder on the centre console, wireless charger as well as dual USB ports at the front and in the rear seat. Power adjustable and ventilated front seats are also available.
The new RX is also equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ on all variants. The system includes Pre-Collision System with Brake Collision Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert, Active Cornering Assist and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The RX is also equipped with the world’s first BladeScan type Adaptive High Beam System (AHS), which unlike the one found in the NX, produces a wider illumination area allows driver to maintain the headlamps on high beam mode, without dazzling oncoming or preceding vehicles.
