Jaguar is marking the 60th anniversary of the E-Type sports car first conceived in the 1960s, with a limited edition model F-Type called the Heritage 60 Edition. Only 60 units will be available.

The special edition model will be available with a Sherwood Green exterior, an original colour for the E-Type and dual-tone Caraway and Ebony Windsor leather upholstery. The Sherwood Green has not been offered on a new Jaguar since the 1960s while the interior colour scheme isn’t normally available for the F-Type.

The limited-edition F-Type also comes with a unique console trim inspired by the E-Type’s rearview mirror casing and a 60th anniversary logo embossed on the headrests of the lightweight performance seats.

The F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is available in both Coupé and Convertible body styles, paired with Diamond-Turned gloss black 20-inch forged alloy wheels and black brake calipers.

The F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is based on the F-Type R launched in December last year with 575 hp, 700 Nm and an all-wheel drive system. It’ll do 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, onward to an electronically-limited top speed of 299 km/h.

The Heritage 60 Edition is built at Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich plant in the UK and finished by the SV Bespoke team at Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations in Warwickshire. Each costs £122,500 (approx. RM667k).
