Honda records jump in bookings for facelift CR-V



A month after the facelift CR-V was launched, Honda Malaysia is pleased to announce a 180% increase in bookings for the upgraded SUV. To date, the company has received over 1,700 bookings for the facelift SUV.

The facelift CR-V is now available in three different variants – 2.0L 2WD, 1.5L TC-P 2WD, and 1.5L TC-P 4WD. The 1.5L TC-P 2WD has been the most popular choice among customers, making up for 46% of the total bookings.

The Central region has contributed to the highest number of bookings, making up 45% of the total bookings nationwide. The facelift CR-V has also been well received in the Southern region (20% of total bookings) and Northern region (19%).

Dark Olive Metallic has been the colour of choice, with 30% of customers opting for the unconventional exterior shade. So far, Honda Malaysia has delivered more than 1,300 units of facelift SUV.

The new CR-V features a new grille, new bumper design, smoked taillights, and new 18-inch wheels among many. Creature comforts now include the remote engine start feature, remote retractable side mirrors, and hands-free powered tailgate.

It’s also equipped with a new rear seat belt reminder feature, to go with the existing Honda SENSING features. They include adaptive cruise control, low speed follow, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and auto high beam.
