The Porsche Cayenne just got even better with another free Premium Package upgrade

The Porsche Cayenne received a Premium Package update back in January last year, which added several niceties to the already well-equipped luxury SUV. And as if that still wasn’t enough, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) today introduced another “enhanced” Premium Package for the Porsche Cayenne, with even more new standard equipment at no added cost.

The new Premium Package for the Porsche Cayenne adds a new air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) for improved driving dynamics, alongside the 21-inch RS Spyder wheels for improved road handling, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), ParkAssist with Surround View, as well as the Comfort Access electronic tailgate with foot sensor for added convenience.

The new upgrades supplements the existing Premium Package, which included 14-way power seats including memory function for the driver and passenger seats, four-zone air automatic climate control, automatic dimming mirrors, electric sun blinds, ambient lighting and a BOSE Surround Sound System, among others.

Otherwise, no changes have been made to the Cayenne, launched in Malaysia back in 2018. This includes the powertrain, which is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that delivers 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque, propelling the full-sized luxury SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.

As mentioned above, the enhanced Premium Package comes at no additional cost for the base Porsche Cayenne, which now starts at RM680,000. Included in the price is a four-year warranty and free service maintenance programme. SDAP has now begun taking pre-orders for the newly enhanced Porsche Cayenne, with deliveries slated to begin in 2021.

In related news, SDAP also recently launched its latest Porsche showroom in Ara Damansara, taking the crown of the largest Porsche outlet in the Asia Pacific region. At the launch, the company also took the opportunity to introduce it’s first fully-electric model, the Porsche Taycan, here in Malaysia.
