The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition is a 10-unit-only celebration of hexagons

As if owning a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster isn’t already exclusive enough, you now have a chance to own one of only ten Aventador SVJ Xago Editions worldwide – designed specifically to celebrate the new virtual Ad Personam studio, which is launched alongside the new limited-edition supercar.

The new online facility offers customers the chance to customise their Lamborghinis to their own bespoke preferences, without having to travel to the Ad Personam specialist department in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

Using the options available in the Ad Personam arsenal, Lamborghini created a bespoke creation inspired by the “hexagon cloud shapes at the North Pole on the planet Saturn” as well as the “strength of the hexagon in nature”.

Most importantly, the Xago is designed to celebrate the iconic ‘hexagonita’ theme in Lamborghini design, as seen on almost all other Lamborghini models to date. The name Xago also probably came from the middle characters in that word, we think.

On the outside, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago edition features a fading hexagonal silver effect on the sides, giving it a snake skin-like appearance, paired with a unique Ad Personam contrast colour livery for every one of the 10 cars, and gloss black Nireo Ad Personam wheels.

The hexagonal motif extends inside, with an exclusive hexagonita pattern on the seat upholstery, finished with accent colours that match the exterior contrast liveries.

Designed as a limited-edition launch edition for the virtual studio, it’s no surprise at all that the Xago edition is reserved exclusively for customers specifying their Aventador SVJ virtually. To home in on the whole exclusivity theme, each of the ten Aventador SVJ Xago editions will also come with a unique numbered plate within the cabin.

Starting from now, customers can pre-book an initial consultation of around two hours via their dealership. During the video call discussion, either joined by the sales specialist at the showroom or from another location, customers will be presented with live design proposals and configuration suggestions via a walkaround of the relevant model right in the Ad Personam studio in Sant’Agata.

With the extensive Ad Personam options available readily in the studio, the Ad Personam specialist can offer close-up views of the proposed design. Once the virtual consultation is done, the Ad Personam team will then follow up with full proposals sent to the client, including renderings and even material samples.

The new online facility will be especially helpful now that international travel is severely restricted. Lamborghini says that more than 50% of the cars rolling off their production lines feature at least one Ad Personam detail, with the largest demand for these coming from the USA, Asia and UK. The Italian supercar maker expects to host at least 150 virtual consultations by the year end.
