Lotus Elise Cup 250 Bathurst Edition pays tribute to Australia’s greatest circuit

In celebrating the Australia’s greatest race circuit – Mount Panorama – and Lotus’ success in its 6th largest market, there will be a limited-run of just six units of the AUD110k sportscar.

The Australia-only model is based on the standard Elise 250 Cup with 243 hp and 250 Nm from a 1.8-litre supercharged 4-cylinder engine. With a kerb weight of just over 880kg, lighter than a Perodua Bezza, the 250 Cup will slingshot to 100 km/h from standstill in just 4.3 seconds.

Made up of independent double wishbone suspension on all four corners, with adjustable front anti-roll bars, the 250 Cup also rides on stiffer Bilstein dampers as compared to the 220 Cup.

Aesthetically, it sports a Monaco White paintjob with forged alloy wheels in black while a pair of carbon fibre race seats and alcantara adorns the interior with special edition plates to highlight the Bathurst Edition’s exclusivity.

Purchasing the Elise 250 Cup Bathurst Edition will also entitle owners to a free entry to the next Lotus trackday on the infamous circuit.
