Reconnecting with mother nature the Nissan way

Since 2018, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) had embarked on a CSR programme focused on ‘reconnecting’ with nature. The aim of the Nissan Nurtures Nature (NNN) initiative is to get Nissan customers, non-profit organisations, business partners, ETCM staff as well as the public at large to participate in activities that contribute to the betterment of the environment, centred around the 3R philosophyReduce, Recycle and Reconnect.

The latest instalment of the NNN campaign dubbed BodyMindSoul Festival is happening from 29th November to 1st December at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam. It features a series of eco-centric activities including mini herb planting using recycled materials and even an exhibition on how to turn used tyres into furniture, along with workshops and displays tailored to make environmental awareness a fun learning process, for all ages.

If you are keen to participate and pick up some pointers from experts on how to lower your carbon footprint and make good use of materials that may have a worthy second life, make you way to Setia City Convention Centre this weekend.

Activities start from 10am and last till 8pm. Of course, you can also test drive the second generation, fully electric Nissan Leaf at the venue, if you haven’t experienced the thrill of driving an EV.
