Video: Ferrari F8 Spider, 5 Things

Earlier this year, Malaysia was chosen as the first country in the region for the Ferrari F8 Tributo to make its debut and just last week, GC Mah got to witness it again at Universo Ferrari in Maranello, with its head chopped off.

It’s called the F8 Spider and was revealed alongside the new and topless 812 GTS that was named after the last front-engined, open-top V12 Ferrari, the 365 GTS Daytona Spider.

Like the car it’s based on, the F8 Spider’s pulse is from the very same beating heart of the F8 Tributo, a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 – Ferrari’s International Engine of the Year.

The F8 Spider’s Retractable Hard Top (RHT) takes just 14 seconds to deploy and retract at speeds of up to 45 km/h.
