The first ever M Performance vehicle in Malaysia, the BMW X2 M35i may come as a disappointment to many enthusiasts who were hoping for the M135i or M340i but let’s not undermine this Sports Activity Vehicle’s sporty credentials.
Packing the most powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder from BMW, the X2 M35i commands 306 hp and 450 Nm of torque. A ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic and xDrive all-wheel-drive system are tasked to send power to the wheels allowing the most potent X2 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds onwards to a top speed of 250 km/h.
There are also some tasty M Performance bits – not just cosmetic – available here too such as M Sport adaptive suspension, M Sport front differential, sports exhaust and M Sport brakes with blue calipers.
