McLaren has just introduced a new aero kit for its Sports Series range, the MSO Defined High Downforce Kit for additional downforce and killer looks.
Designed and engineered from McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the High Downforce Kit consists of a fixed rear wing finished in gloss exposed carbon fibre with silver chromatic MSO branding on the endplates.
The rear wing adds 75 kg of downforce at speeds, allowing for higher cornering limits and highspeed stability. The additional downforce is balanced with new guide vanes on the front underbody to create a low-pressure zone at the front of the car, reducing drag.
All that technical bits aside, a majority of customers would probably opt for the High Downforce Kit simply because it looks absolutely gorgeous. Existing 570S or 570S Spider customers can have this kit fitted at all authorised McLaren retailer.
