The new Citroen C3 Aircross is now the funkiest thing on our roads!

Don’t you like it when new things pop up to inject the some vibrancy into the same cycle of motions? If you do, you’d probably appreciate the presence of this new compact SUV – even if you don’t buy one.

After teasing us last year at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show, it’s finally here in a single variant, priced at RM115,888 on-the-road without insurance.

The attractive pricing, coupled with the funky interior and exterior should be good enough reason for potential Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3 owners to rethink their options.

It comes with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder PureTech turbocharged engine making 112 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with fuel consumption rated at 5.3L/100km.

Features wise, the C3 Aircross is not one to be overlooked. You get keyless entry with push-start feature, cruise control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on the 7-inch infotainment system with the only let down being the singular USB port.

As for the funky exterior, the C3 Aircross is finished with 17-inch wheels, tail lights with 3D effect, LED daytime running lights and halogen headlamps.

Safety wise, the C3 Aircross comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Programme, Electronic Brake Force Distribution along with ABS and Brake Assist.

If that isn’t enticing enough, the C3 Aircross comes with a 3-year free service package for the first 100 units while the rest comes with a 5-year/120,000km warrant with roadside assistance.
