Making its first appearance here in South East Asia at the 2019 Malaysia Autoshow, Honda Malaysia has taken to stage an FK8 Civic Type R dressed in the Mugen Concept kit.
And if the Civic Type R in its standard form isn’t loud and shouty enough for you, pray that Honda will eventually make this kit as it is only a concept so far – used to weigh in on consumer interest.
For starters, it wears a dazzling set of 20-inch wheels, carbon fibre grille garnish, a front lip, and super aggressive rear under spoiler. It’s even dressed with a different spoiler.
Elsewhere, the Mugen concept kit also comes with carbon fibre mirro caps, different design for the tail lights, and Mugen scuff plates.
Mugen details on the inside include a Mugen gear knob, some carbon fibre trims by the dashboard and doors while the floor mats are tagged with Mugen badges.
Religious or not, if you’re digging this Mugen kit, pray to all the gods that Honda deems this kit fit for production – it could come to Malaysia.
