In case you’re wondering, the 600LT is essentially a more extreme version of the McLaren 570S. The LT on the other hand, stands for “Longtail” which was formerly a designation for the McLaren F1 GTR race car and has since been applied onto the likes of the 675LT.
The McLaren 600LT is home to a reworked 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with an output of 600 hp and 620 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission to the rear wheels, with 0 to 100 km/h taking just 2.9 seconds – 0.1 seconds slower than the Ferrari 812 Superfast – and before you know it, 200 km/h will arrive just under five seconds later.
