Local property development giants, Country Heights have partnered with Goldenport Enterprises of China to host Malaysia’s first Asia GT Festival this 15 to 17 March 2019 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
The racing festival, held outside of China for the first time, will see over 30 GT cars from all over the world compete for the coveted prize money pool of RM5.45 million (RMB9,000,000).

“Through this Asia GT Festival, we want to grow Malaysian’s exposure to a different kind of four-wheeled motorsport racing while providing the platform for aspiring Malaysian racers to be part of an internationally-renowned race event,” said Country Heights, Executive Director, Matahari Lee at today’s press conference at the Palace of the Golden Horses.
“This event is also a step forward for Country Heights and the MINES Car City Centre towards our vision of developing the country’s automotive lifestyle and motorsports industry,” he added.

“We are thrilled to be here in Kuala Lumpur, a city with a rich culture and exciting opportunities. This is an exciting time for us and our partner Country Heights to see Malaysia as the highlight of the Asia GT racing calendar,” said Goldenport Enterprises founder, Jim Ye.
Throughout the three-day event, expect to see the likes of Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari, Audi, McLaren and Mercedes-Benz go head to head with one another, along with GT3 and GT4 support races.
Tickets for the Asia GT Festival is now available and can be purchased through MotoNation’s Facebook page or their official website with ticket prices ranging from RM20 to RM350.
