Lexus Malaysia has previewed the all-new Lexus UX here at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS), teasing the imminent launch of their smallest crossover which is scheduled to happen sometime in 2019.
The UX 200 on display here is powered by a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder Dynamic Force petrol engine paired to a Lexus Direct Shift CVT to push out 169 hp and 205 Nm. Drive is channelled exclusively to the front wheels.
The Lexus UX rides on the brand’s Global Architecture – Compact (GA-C) platform that shares the same underpinnings with the Toyota C-HR’s TNGA platform. The GA-C platform gives the UX the lowest centre of gravity in its segment and promises car-like sporty handling characteristics.
