When the BMW i8 coupe first graced the world in 2014, the hybrid-powered supercar with its dihedral doors was something straight from the future. Now BMW Malaysia has unveiled the updated version and there are Things You Need to Know about the refreshed i8:
The biggest difference with the refreshed i8 is the increased battery capacity that extends the pure electric driving range to 55 km, 20 km more than before. This brings the combined output of the 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and eDrive PHEV system to 374 hp.
