Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has just introduced the Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift to our local market. Offered in a sole S 450 L variant, here are Things You Need to Know about the refreshed S-Class:

Priced at RM699k, the locally assembled S 450 L AMG Line is around RM100k dearer than the popular S 400 h, owing to the CKD hybrid Tax Incentives whose fate is on the pedestal at the moment.

Despite the dearer price tag, the rear wheel driven S 450 L offers more performance with its 3.0L bi-turbo V6 putting out 367 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission, the S 450 L will go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds before maxing out at 250 km/h.
