Isuzu Malaysia has just added two new variants of the Isuzu D-Max to their local line up, the X-Series. Unveiled at the Drive Autofair 2018, let Eu Jin take you on a closer look at the limited edition Isuzu D-Max X-Series:
Additions to the X-Serie pick up trucks are mostly cosmetics with convenient features such as 360-degree Around View Monitor and a built-in Smart Tag reader. It retains the same engine options available on the D-Max – a 2.5-litre turbodiesel with 136 hp/320 Nm and a 3.0-litre turbodiesel with 177 hp/380 Nm. Both mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
The new D-Max variants with its added macho-ness and attractive price tag of RM118k and RM124k, it certainly adds some much-needed flair to the aging pick up truck. If the X-Series speaks to you, be sure to snap one up before Isuzu Malaysia is done with the limited production.
