Aston Martin adds more spice to the tantalising DB11

It’s called the Aston Martin DB11 AMR; inspired by Aston Martin Racing’s successful endurance programme, it replaces the outgoing V12 model as the new flagship of the DB11 range.

Stuffed inside its long front hood is a 630 hp 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, a full 129 hp more than the V8 DB11 launched in Malaysia recently. Off the line, the DB11 AMR tips the 100 km/h mark in just 3.7 seconds with 700 Nm – similar to the AMG GT C Roadster and if you dare, the DB11 AMR can transport you to the hair-raising threshold of 335 km/h.

Aston Martin President & Chief Executive Officer, Dr Andy Palmer, said of the DB11 AMR, “Since its initial launch back in 2016 the DB11 has sold close to 4,200 V12 examples. With the exceptional V8 Coupe and Volante, we felt the V12 could reveal more of its sporting potential, while remaining the consummate GT.”The DB11 AMR is available in three Designer Specifications, plus an exclusive AMR Signature Edition, which carries a striking Stirling Green and lime livery. Strictly limited to 100 units worldwide, the AMR Signature Edition is priced at £201,995 (approx. RM 1.08 mil).

The Aston Martin DB11 AMR is priced at £174,995 (approx. RM 937k) in the UK, with deliveries set to take place in Q2 2018.
