Lexus RC 300h F Sport Black Edition is possibly the meanest looking coupe

Besides the swanky new Lexus UX compact SUV, the Japanese premium carmaker will also be bringing a Lexus RC 300h F Sport Black Edition to the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS). Inspired by traditional Japanese Sumi Ink, the Black Edition features an all-black theme inside and out.

Sporting a Graphite Black metallic paintwork, the special edition model has its spindle grille finished in dark chrome, repositioned circular LED fog lamps and black stainless-steel window mouldings. As its name suggests, the RC 300h F Sport Black Edition is fitted with the full F Sport exterior pack for an even more aggressive look. The 19-inch F Sport alloy wheels get a unique matt black and bright machined finish to complete the stealth look.

The blacked-out theme continues inside the cabin with smooth black leather, deep black wood trim inserts and black headlining. The only vibrant colour you’ll find is the orange contrast stitching. Otherwise, equipment levels ditto the F Sport Premier Pack specification which includes 17-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system, sunroof, Lexus Premium Navigation with 10.3-inch multimedia display and F Sport sport seats.

Under the hood, you’ll find the same 2.5-litre hybrid powerplant that gives a combined output of 220 hp. Safety wise, it comes equipped with Lexus Safety System+ active safety and driver assistance function. The Lexus RC 300h F Sport Black Edition will go on sale in UK with a price tag of £45,165 (RM243k).
