Honda Malaysia has extended their model range equipped with Honda Sensing with the launch of the facelifted Honda Odyssey – the third model aftrer the CR-V and Accord to be equipped with the Next Generation Advanced Safety Technology.
Mechanically, nothing’s changed; the facelifted Odyssey retains the 2.4-litre i-VTEC Earth Dreams Technology that’s mated to a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). Output is rated at 172 hp with 225 Nm of torque.

The new Odyssey’s exterior has been enhanced with a redesigned front bumper, new front grille, new LED rear lights, newly-designed 17-inch wheels, LED fog lights and electric-retractable door mirrors with Auto Dim rear view mirrors.
The Odyssey’s reworked interior comes with new bigger armrest by the driver seat, 4-way passenger power seats, bigger headrests for its Premium Captain seats with Ottoman on the second row for improved comfort on longer journeys.
The Ultra-Low Floor Platform in the new Odyssey allows for passengers to get in and out easily on top of improving cabin space, equivalent to a large-class MPV.
The highlight of it all is the addition of the Honda Sensing system to the facelifted Odyssey. The system consists of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigating Braking System CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM).
On top of that, the Odyssey also comes with a Multi-view Camera System, Smart Parking Assist System, Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitoring along with six airbags.
The Odyssey will be available in three colours – two of which are a first for a Honda – Platinum White Pearl and Premium Twinkle Black Pearl along with the former Super Platinum Metallic. The Odyssey goes for RM 254,800, including GST without Insurance, with 5-years warranty with unlimited mileage.
