This Chinese copy of a classic BMW is actually quite charming

Chinese Low Speed Electric Vehicle (LSEV) company, Suzhou Eagle EV Manufacturing company has just rip the copyright rule book again with their version of BMW’s classic Isetta.

Named the EG6330K, it is able to accomodate four passengers with a driving range of up to 120 km. Top speed is claimed to be 60 km/h with power coming from a 72V electric motor that produces less than 10 hp.

Stopping power is courtesy of front disc brakes while the EG6330K’s road holding capabilities is safeguarded by MacPherson independent suspension in the front, while a torsion beam semi-independent suspension sits on the rear axle.

It’s got four foors, air conditioning, sofa-like seats and comes with a mere 20-litres of bootspace. The EG6330K reportedly cost around USD 4,000 (RM 15k). Suzhou Eagle claims that the EG6330K has gone through 350 hours of testing, with a total mileage of 9680 km at its test facility.
