Shortly after the global unveiling of the Lexus RX L, Lexus Malaysia has confirmed that the three-row SUV will be making its debut in Malaysia in early February 2018 and order books for the luxury SUV are now open.

Lexus Malaysia hinted at a sole RX 350L variant that is powered by a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 paired to an eight-speed automatic that is good for 290 hp and 357 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to all four-corners via Lexus’ Active Torque Control AWD system that is able to vary torque distribution between the front and rear axles, anywhere from 100:0 to 50:50.

Malaysia-bound RX 350L will be of seven-seater configuration (six-seater available in other markets) with a 2-3-2 layout. Thanks to an increased in overall length by 110 mm and a longer C-pillar section, passengers in the third-row are promised with ample space and class-leading boot space with all three rows up.

Now for the price, Lexus Malaysia estimates an On-the-Road price without insurance of RM475,000 for the RX 350L, an RM18k premium over its five-seater equivalent. Like all Lexus models in Malaysia, the Lexus RX 350L will be fully imported from Japan and will come with a 5-Years unlimited mileage. Lexus Malaysia is accepting bookings for the RX 350L at all Lexus centres nationwide.
