Audi has officially teased its upcoming all-new Audi A7 Sportback in a single image. The second-generation luxury four-door coupe will make its official debut very very soon on October 19, 6pm BST (1am Malaysian time). Audi claims that the new A7 embodies the brands latest design language previously seen on the Prologue concept car.
Like the A8 that made its global debut recently, the A7 will also carry over much of the design elements from the Prologue show car. Design cues such as sleeker headlamps and prominent Singleframe grille like the A4 and Q5 are a given.
Expect the A7 to be lighter, more aerodynamic and luxurious than the out-going model it replaces. As some of you are aware, the first-gen A7 was based on the A6 C7 but was actually launched a year before the A6 came about (A7 in 2010, A6 in 2011). If Audi were to keep the same development timeline, we can expect what the next-generation A6 entails judging from the all-new A7.
