Aside from petrol, your car’s engine oil is one of the most important yet overlooked fluid when it comes to vehicle maintenance. Just as our bodies require enough blood to flow through its veins, our engines too require lubricants and quality ones to prolong its lifespan.

Living in the tropics, excessive engine heat is a common problem for our cars. It takes its toll on the engine without discrimination and can affect all types of vehicles. Excessive engine heat can be aggravated by day-to-day commuting – from traffic congestion, driving up steep inclinations and continuous hard acceleration. As such, critical components of the engine can be damaged over time leading to compromised  performance.

But then there’s the Petronas Syntium with CoolTech. Two decades of involvement in Formula One has certainly paid dividends for Petronas, as seen with their current range of Petronas Syntium with CoolTech engine lubricants.  It helps absorb and transfer excessive heat out of the engine efficiently, delivering exceptional heat dissipation to prevent internal engine failure, delays oil thickening and maintaining engine performance.

On a side note, during the recent meet and greet session with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, the Malaysian oil giant had pledge its commitment in the pinnacle of motorsports despite the Sepang’s F1nale. From next year onwards, the only Malaysian influence in Formula One will be lead by Petronas.
