Italian Cops’ latest weapon is a 610 hp Lamborghini Huracan!

The Italian police force has a new addition to its fleet, in a form of a 325 km/h supercar. That’s right, a new Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 is tasked to preserve law and order on Italian streets!

In fact, this isn’t the first time a Lamborghini is used to serve the force. The Huracan’s predecessor, the Gallardo LP560-4, has been in the service since 2015 and will be put into retirement once this Huracan enters service. Just like standard police cars, this Huracan is equipped with a standard cop-issue gun holster, portable extinguisher, communication radio and a tablet computer. Completing its exterior is the Police Medium Blue colour.

The standard all-wheel drive Huracan is powered by a naturally aspirated V10 engine that deploys 610 hp and runs the century sprint in 3.2 seconds and to a top speed of 325 km/h. Such performance is useful to save lives via delivering precious blood and organs to hospitals during emergencies, apart from chasing speeders on the highways.
