Genesis G90 flagship renderings revealed, to debut in Korea by December 2015

Just as we brought you news of Hyundai’s new global premium sub-brand Genesis, they rolled out a duo of renderings of their new range-topping G90 luxury sedan – named EQ900 in Korea. The ‘elegantly designed’ Genesis G90 will effectively be the brand’s blueprint for future models to come.

The luxury limo embodies Genesis’ design language called Athletic Elegance (interpreted by the new Prestige Design Division), and flanking the front end is a huge trapezoidal grille crowned by the Genesis winged emblem. There’s also a strong shoulder line flowing along its body into the tail lamp clusters – some key design cues that its luxury stablemates will surely adopt. Genesis-G90-1

Hyundai Motor’s Head of R&D and Vice Chairman Woong-Chul Yang said, “The new Genesis G90 sedan will deliver a concept of ‘New Luxury’ to our customers. The G90 sits at the pinnacle of the Genesis brand and demonstrates how we apply our human-centred values to give our customers true satisfaction in every aspect of the vehicle ownership experience.”

Full details of the G90 will be revealed soon. As far as the sketches go, the Genesis G90 certainly looks on point and with great stature to match. It will come with Hyundai’s full suite of safety features, including some technological innovations that Hyundai claims will hold its own in the luxury car segment. We can’t wait.
