As many of you out there are aware, DRB-HICOM is a conglomerate company that houses many brands and marques under their umbrella. The company decided that it was due time to let them out for the weekend on the occasion of Autofest which will showcase all 11 brands in a three-day that is currently ongoing, held from 6 to 8 November. Did we mention there’s a whole load of food trucks too?

Autofest 2015 promises great deals and discounts across the board. As mentioned, all 11 brands will be on show, and they include Proton, Lotus, Can-Am, Audi, Volkswagen, Honda, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Tata and local motorcycle manufacturer Modenas. The best part of this event is you get to test drive selected models, including hefty discounts as much as RM75,000 for a brand new Jeep! Substantial maybe understating it slightly, we reckon. DRB also launched a multi-merchant point-based loyalty card – the DRB-HICOM Elite Program.2015-Autofest-DRB-HICOM-EON-1

While that maybe a titillating offer for some, it just isn’t up most people’s alley, but fret not; Proton will be holding an auction event which will see over 200 cars of various models including the Exora Bold, Suprima S, Preve, Inspira and Persona going under the hammer for what is promised to be an affordable affair.

For the sports car enthusiast out there, Lotus is offering a 3-year unlimited mileage factory warranty with two years free service. But what if a Lotus is too much performance for you to handle? As if it were a stroke of luck, the Norfolk-based company is throwing in a driver training course for one at the prestigious Lotus Driving Academy that’s coupled with a complimentary one-year membership to join the Lotus Official Club Malaysia.2015-Autofest-DRB-HICOM-EON-4

But hey, if you ain’t lookin’ to buy a new ride and just want to enjoy the festivities, Autofest 2015 has you covered with a whole host of fun-filled activities for the whole family including a Wheelie Demonstration by the boys from Modenas, a sing-a-long karaoke battle and live performances by local talents. In addition to that, there’ll be a LEGO competition, magic shows and a barrage of games and quizzes culminating in a lucky draw that’ll see a few lucky visitors walking away with a brand-new Proton Iriz, Modenas bikes and other goodies. So hurry down to the EON Complex in Glenmarie, Shah Alam from 9am to 6pm. Parking is a breeze and shuttle services are provided.
