Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has just announced a new colour – Dark Ruby Red Pearl for their best selling model, the Honda City. Customers choosing this colour will not have to pay additional costs, and this adds to the outgoing palette comprised of Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl.
Since its introduction last year, more than 55,587 units of the City has found new homes, contributing to a large chunk of Honda’s sales (41 percent to be exact). However, Honda’s market research team showed that many of their customers chose red as their preferred new colour for the City.
Just to recap, the non-national B-Segment leader is powered by a 1.5-litre SOHC i-VTEC engine making 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque, paired to the Continuously Variable Transmission. Like its mechanics, the amenity and safety kits remain identical as before.
