Some may find it hard to believe that Proton is now 30 years old, and in celebration of its 30th anniversary, “The Company” is offering a special deal for customers and existing Proton owners.
Beginning 9 July till 30 September 2015, Proton is offering a rebate of RM3,000 on all Proton models to customers who turn 30 this year (born in 1985). That’s not all. Existing Proton customers can also trade in their car for a new one, and they will get a rebate of RM100 for each year of their vehicle’s current age. So if your car is eight years old, you get RM800 off on top of your car’s trade in value.
Proton is also offering their entry level Saga FL a net price of RM30,000 – that’s inclusive of road tax, insurance and GST. Interested buyers can look forward to enjoying their ‘Even More Value’ campaign, offering promos like 1.99% interest rate per annum on selected Saga and Iriz models, 100% financing scheme for government staff, fresh graduate deals and the 7-year extended warranty promotion.

Since the first Proton Saga rolled out for the masses, it facilitated in growing the Malaysian economy to move forward by leaps and bounds with the progress in the automobile industry. This year too, we saw the roll out of the four millionth car.”
Again, the promotion will run from 9 July till 30 September 2015 and is available at every Proton showroom nationwide. Proton, together with the promotion, will put RM30 into a special fund for every Proton car sold with three charitable bodies being the recipients of the funds by the end of this year.
