Suzuki Malaysia Automotive has just announced that they will be taking pre-sale orders for the facelifted Swift. The B-Segment hatch will continue being offered in three flavours – GA, GL and GLX.

Changes on the Swift are minimal to say the least, with the only evident restyling being the front bumper. For the GA and GL trims, you get a silver garnish in the foglamp housing whereas the range topping GLX gets LED daytime running lights in place of the said garnish. There’s also a new colour to go with it – Lagoon Turquoise.

To finish off the exterior package, the GL and GLX Swifts come with a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 185/55 series tyres, whereas the base model GA will make do with 15-inchers. In the case of the GLX, it gets Push Start System, a touch screen display with GPS navigation, automatic air-conditioning, tilt and telescopic multi-function steering wheel with a 6-speaker stereo system.

All guises of the Swift run on the unchanged 1.4-litre inline-four engine, pumping out 93 hp at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The Swift also comes equipped with ABS, EBD, Brake Assist and dual SRS airbags.

Again, the Swift trio is priced from RM59,000 for the GA trim; RM65,000 for the GL and RM73,000 for the GLX. All prices are on the road inclusive of GST but excludes insurance. The Swift comes with a five-year or 150,000 km warranty, which ever comes first. Aside from the Lagoon Turquoise, other colours available on offer include Supreme Red, Olive Gray, Bayside Blue and Superior White.
