If you drive a Myvi of any generation and still feel like joining one of the many Myvi owners’ clubs out there but still haven’t found one yet, fret not, because Perodua has sent out an open invitation to every Myvi owner out there – yes, all 830,000 of you, to take part in the model’s “Myvi 10niversary Celebration”.
The event, known as “Myvi Nation, the Biggest Myvi Gathering”, is slated to take place at Setia City Mall on 24 May 2015, and participants must bring their Myvis to the 7am-to-6pm event in order to be eligible for a certificate and an exclusive gift pack worth over RM400. What’s more is you also get to be in the running to win a special 10th Anniversary Commemorative Edition Myvi – that’s a real car, not a die-cast model, mind you.
It sounds almost like a carnival now, with star-studded concerts lined up to perform all day, fireworks display, hot air balloon rides and even an open-aired movie session at night. There will also be games and fun activities setup, including special deals for all to enjoy.
To participate, you must first own or drive a Myvi, and register yourselves at Perodua’s official website (subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010). Registration fee is RM50 per car, and you won’t have to pay more if you decide to bring friends and family along. Just make sure they get into the Myvi you’re driving.
Before registering, please spare a good minute to carefully go through the reminders below:
1) Participants’ car must be registered in Malaysia, with a valid road tax, motor insurance and driving licence during the event.
2) To participate in the contest, it is mandatory for the cars to carry the Perodua and Myvi logos (NO Toyota or Scion or Passo logos guys, seriously) which need to be visible all the time during the event.
3) The car must be recognisable as per its original model, the Perodua Myvi. Any cars that has been modified beyond its original design will be disqualified.
4) If the Participant uses other car that is not registered under his/her name, it is his/her responsibility to obtain a written consent from the legal owner. Please click here for the consent form.
