The event is also expected to mark the launch of two new BMW M models. The first is the BMW M2 CS, a more hardcore version of the M2 featuring extensive carbon-fibre components to reduce weight. Power comes from a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six producing 530 hp and 650 Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the rear wheels for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds.
The second model is the new BMW M3 CS Touring. Essentially the wagon version of the M3 CS, it delivers 551 hp and 650 Nm of torque to all four wheels, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds. It also holds the title of the fastest production wagon to lap the Nürburgring.
