With vehicles like the Xiaomi SU7 selling like hotcakes in China, it is not surprising that other carmakers want a share of the pie. It looks as though Geely wants a piece of it too, as the company has unveiled its own contender, which also comes with a familiar name: the Galaxy TT.
Despite the similar nomenclature, the “TT” moniker here has two meanings according to Geely: “Trend & Technology” and “Time Tourist”. Further differentiating it from the German two-door sports car is that the Galaxy TT is a large fastback sedan that comes in at almost five metres long, which is comparable in size to the BMW i5.
The car has not made its market launch in China yet, which is slated for August 2026, but it is reported that the Geely Galaxy TT features a new styling comprising a “Floating Star-Diamond” headlight arrangement and a three-section front grille located at the lower part of the front bumper for a sporty stance.
The rear receives full-width taillights and a sporty treatment for the rear bumper. Honing its athletic appearance, the Galaxy TT also features a retractable rear spoiler with three stages of deployment, CarNewsChina reports.
Inside, you will find a dashboard that differs from other vehicles in the Galaxy lineup. The steering wheel appears to feature a dial that echoes the setup found in some Porsches, while the driver gets a large digital gauge cluster and a centre touchscreen running on the second-generation Flyme OS.

There is also a separate small display at the top for a cutesy artificial intelligence assistant, and the driver is reportedly receiving a wide augmented-reality head-up display (AR-HUD) as well.
On the centre console, there appears to be an analogue clock, though this could also be a digital screen mimicking one. Other amenities located there look like they include a wireless charging pad, a row of physical controls, and a rotary dial that could similarly control the centre touchscreen as seen in the Proton eMAS 7.
The powertrain of the Geely Galaxy TT is reportedly based on an 800-volt architecture with rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants on offer. The RWD variant produces 333 hp (245 kW), whereas the AWD variant delivers 578 hp (425 kW).

These powertrains can be optioned with a battery offered in three capacities: 52.4 kWh, 63.8 kWh, and 75.2 kWh. In turn, these enable a reported range of 540 km, 640 km, 650 km, and 725 km, all presumably calculated according to the CLTC standard, with the large-capacity pack covering the latter two figures depending on the powertrain configuration.
The safety systems of the Galaxy TT reportedly feature the next-generation Geely Afari Smart Driving (G-ASD) system, according to a regulatory filing from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
