2026 Ford Everest Sport 2.0L updated in Malaysia with 4WD, 10-speed auto – RM317k

Alongside the launch of the new Platinum variants, Sime Darby Auto Connexion has also unveiled the updated Ford Everest Sport 2.0L variant for Malaysia, now upgraded with a part-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system for better versatility especially off the beaten path.

The updated 2026 Ford Everest Sport 2.0L is priced at RM316,888, on-the-road, and without insurance.

As before, the Everest Sport variant continues to feature blacked-out details for a more aggressive appearance on the outside, including the front grille, bumper garnishes, window surrounds, and the 20-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT tyres (255/55 R20).

The engine is also unchanged from before, with 170 hp and 405 Nm of torque supplied from the 2.0-litre single-turbocharged inline-four diesel engine. The rest of the drivetrain, however, has seen significant updates.

A new 10-speed automatic gearbox replaces the six-speed slushbox of yore, and drive is also now sent to all four wheels via a part-time 4WD system, selectable via an electronic control panel on the centre console (Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly).

That is complemented by two additional driving modes, namely Mud/Ruts and Sand, to give drivers more confidence on trickier terrain.

Inside, the new 2026 Ford Everest Sport 2.0L now gains newly designed two-tone seats for a more stylish ambience. The central infotainment display has also now been up-sized to 12 inches in diameter, powered by the Ford Sync4A system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Otherwise, the rest of its equipment list remains unchanged from before, including the eight-inch digital instrument panel, leather upholstery, eight-way powered front seats, a wireless charging pad, and electronic dual-zone climate control.

Four colours are now available, including Lightning Blue, Arctic White, Absolute Black, and Command Grey, the latter previously exclusive to the Ranger Raptor.
