It’s big, it’s wide, and it’s got a fierce engine. Priced from RM722,888 on-the-road without insurance, the Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4Matic+ Coupé is finally here — stepping in to replace its discontinued AMG C-Class Coupé and E-Class Coupé predecessors.
Powering the luxury performance coupé is a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It delivers 449 hp and 560 Nm of torque, with the integrated starter-generator adding up to 23 hp and 205 Nm in short bursts, raising torque to 600 Nm for up to 12 seconds.
Power is sent to all four wheels via the AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system through a nine-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. It propels the car from 0–100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h — upgradeable to 270 km/h with the driver’s package.
The car offers three damping modes via its AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension, complemented by five driving modes that let drivers fine-tune the car’s character to their liking. And for added fun, the front axle can be decoupled — letting drivers drift the car like a true tail-happy AMG.

As you drift like a true Mercedes-AMG, you have to look the part too. The Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4Matic+ Coupé benefits from a wider track and 19-inch AMG Y-spoke wheels with larger brakes, complete with red-painted callipers. Notable exterior features that make the car stand out include Quad tailpipes, the AMG Night Package II, and the AMG Exterior Carbon-Fibre package.
Inside, it sports a familiar-looking interior featuring an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 12.3-inch central infotainment display running on MBUX. Being an AMG model, it gets an AMG Performance steering wheel, AMG Performance seats, and glossy carbon-fibre trim to enhance the sporty ambience.
