According to the official pricelist on Suzuki Cars Malaysia’s website, the 2024 Jimny 3-door and 2024 Suzuki Swift Sport have been given a significant price cut, now starting from RM158,900 and RM130,900 respectively.
That’s a reduction of RM16,000 for the Suzuki Jimny 3-door and a RM15,000 drop for the Swift Sport. The Jimny was initially launched at RM168,900 before being increased to RM174,900 in 2022 due to the reinstatement of sales and services tax (SST). Similarly, the Swift Sport was launched at RM139,900, before rising up to RM145,900 due to SST.
For the Suzuki Jimny 3-Door, the new price cuts weren’t reflected onto their accessorised “special edition” models, but the Swift Sport Silver Edition did get a new discounted price, now at RM141,900.
Following the new updated prices, the Suzuki Jimny 3-Door’s variant line-up is priced as below:
- Jimny 3-door standard – RM158,900
- Jimny 3-door Rainforest Edition – RM168,900
- Jimny 3-door Black Edition – RM171,900
- Jimny 3-door Rhino Edition – RM174,900
As for the Suzuki Swift Sport, the updated price list is as such:
- Swift Sport standard – RM130,900
- Swift Sport Silver Edition – RM141,900
Despite their new lower prices, the specifications for both cars remain unchanged from before. Underneath the Jimny’s bonnet remains the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, delivering 100 hp and 130 Nm of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive (AllGrip 4WD) system complement the powertrain.
The Malaysian-spec Jimny 3-door features LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs), along with dark silver 15-inch alloy wheels and automatic climate control. Imported from Japan (CBU), the Jimny 3-door comes with a three-year/100,000 km warranty.

As for the Suzuki Swift Sport in Malaysia, it’s still powered by the same 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder mill with 138 hp and 230 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to spin the front wheels. Imported from Japan (CBU), the Swift Sport comes with a three-year/100,000 km warranty.
Specifications-wise, the Suzuki Swift Sport in Malaysia gets automatic LED headlights, 16-inch wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, push-button start, and a split folding rear seat.
