Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just launched the Mercedes-AMG A45S 4MATIC+ Limited Edition. It is RM50,000 more expensive compared to the regular A45S 4MATIC+ at RM558,888, on the road without insurance.
The car uses the same powertrain as the facelifted A45S 4MATIC+. Retaining the M139 2.0 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, it produces 416 hp and 500 Nm. With the 8-speed AMG Speedshift 8G dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive (AWD) system, 0-100 km/h is done in 3.9 seconds and it will eventually reach a top speed of 270 km/h.
The A45S 4MATIC+ Limited Edition gets the AMG Green Hell Magno exterior paint from the company’s Manufaktur palette. The car also gets the Aerodynamic Package and the Night Package as standard like the regular A45S, which includes a front splitter with a yellow accent on it, and canards on the bumper in gloss black with yellow accents.
Moving to the sides, there is a “45S” lettering on the door. The Limited Edition also comes with 19-inch forged alloy wheels complete with a yellow accent finish on it. The green, black, and yellow combo has also been extended to the side skirts, spoiler, and wing mirrors. At the rear of the car, it gets a similar colour combo for the rear wing, side vents, and the rear diffuser. The diffuser and rear canards are in gloss black with a yellow accent finish.
Interior-wise, the car gets Artico synthetic leather and Microcut microfibre upholstery on the AMG Performance seats (with yellow “A45S” embroidery), and an AMG steering wheel. Yellow contrast stitching also runs across the dashboard and door panels. However, you get the regular black seatbelts instead of the red ones found in the regular A45S 4MATIC+. There are also illuminated door sills with AMG lettering finish in yellow and AMG floor mats with “45S” lettering and stitching in yellow. Other features of the A45S Limited Edition include a 64-colour ambient lighting system, a Burmester surround sound system, and a sliding panoramic sunroof.
Safety-wise, the car is offered with a 360-degree surround view monitor and a driving assistance package that includes lane keep assist (LKA), adaptive cruise control (ACC), blind spot monitoring system (BSM), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and exit warning assist.

To recap, the standard A45S 4MATIC+ will set you back at RM509,888 but if you like all the extra bits mentioned above, the Limited Edition will cost RM50,000 extra at RM558,888, on-the-road (OTR) and without insurance. The car is exclusively available through the Mercedes-Benz online store and it is limited to just 10 units.
