It’s been 25 years since Honda Malaysia was established, and to mark the milestone, the company is introducing a limited-edition Honda CR-V Dual-Tone Edition — with just 300 units on offer nationwide. Available exclusively for the E and V variants, prices remain unchanged at RM169,900 and RM181,900, respectively, on-the-road and without insurance.
This special edition marks the first time a dual-tone exterior has been offered in the CR-V lineup. It features a contrasting black roof, side pillars, and side mirrors that give the SUV a sportier, more refined aesthetic. Buyers can choose between two colour combinations — Ignite Red Metallic or Platinum White Pearl — each paired with the same striking black accents.

Apart from the mild exterior cosmetic updates, the rest of the Honda CR-V remains complety unchanged. The E variant continues to feature a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 193 hp and 243 Nm of torque, with power sent to the front wheels through a CVT gearbox. Step up to the V variant, and you’ll also get power sent to the rear wheels for all-wheel drive (AWD).
The range-topping Honda CR-V e:HEV RS is offered as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), powered by a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with Honda’s i-MMD series-parallel hybrid system. It delivers a combined output of 184 hp and 335 Nm of torque, with power sent to the front wheels via an e-CVT – but of course, the RS won’t be available with a dual-tone roof option.

Inside, the E variant of the Honda CR-V comes equipped with a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and a 9.0-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Notable features include an eight-speaker sound system, Qi wireless charger, dual-zone air conditioning, and leather upholstery. Step up to the V variant, and you’ll also get a driver’s seat with memory function for added convenience.
As standard, all CR-V variants are equipped with the Honda Sensing advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite as standard, enabling features such as Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS), and Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW). Higher-end variants will benefit from additional features like the Honda LaneWatch side camera system, four front parking sensors, and a multi-view 360-degree camera system.
For those interested in the Honda CR-V, prices start at RM159,900 for the base S variant, followed by RM169,900 for the E, RM181,900 for the V, and RM195,900 for the range-topping e:HEV RS. All prices are on-the-road without insurance.
